What Working with Me Looks Like (and What it Doesn't)
Most people do not come to work with me because they are doing well.
They come because something feels stuck, heavy, confusing, or unresolved and they do not know why.
Some have tried counseling, coaching, or therapy and still feel like the same patterns keep resurfacing. Some have tried to do the work on their own and feel overwhelmed or frustrated that nothing is changing. Others have no language for what is happening at all. They only know they feel anxious, depressed, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted and they cannot think their way out of it.
Many people know they have habits, triggers, or relational patterns that repeat. They may recognize when they are reacting but not know how to stop. They may feel hijacked by emotions that do not match the present moment. They may be navigating life events that have cracked something open and exposed what has been quietly there all along.
This is where the work begins.
What Working with Me Looks Like
Working with me is not about diagnosing what is wrong with you. It is about understanding how you learned to survive and how those strategies are still shaping your life.
I work as a Gestalt Coach, and depending on context, you could also call me a life coach on steroids. My training is grounded in Gestalt theory, which focuses on awareness, present moment experience, and how patterns show up in real time.
We do not follow a rigid structure or a set of tools. We work with what shows up in the moment. That might be anxiety you are trying to manage. It might be sadness you keep avoiding. It might be a familiar story you tell yourself that suddenly loses its grip when it is slowed down and examined.
I listen deeply. Not only to what you say, but to how you say it. I notice when something shifts, when you disconnect, when you rush past something important, or when your body responds before your words do. Often the most meaningful work happens in those moments.
Inner child work and what some people call shadow work naturally emerge here. Not as exercises, but as lived experience. The younger parts of you that learned to adapt, protect, perform, or stay quiet are not pushed away or forced to change. They are acknowledged, understood, and given space to be seen.
Sessions are sixty minutes. We meet for three weekly sessions in a row, followed by a week off. That integration week is intentional. It allows your system time to settle and integrate what surfaced and was healed rather than stacking insight on top of insight.
Clients who work with me are willing to stay present. They are open to sitting in discomfort without immediately trying to fix it. They trust the process even when it feels unfamiliar or outside of their comfort zone. They are committed to doing the work required for real change, not just temporary relief.
What Working with Me Does Not Look Like
I do not offer quick fixes or surface level coping strategies.
I will not give you advice to override what you are feeling. I will not coach you into positivity or push you to move past emotions that need attention. I will not pressure you to commit before you are ready.
I do not chase people. I do not convince. I do not use high pressure tactics. When someone is ready for this level of work, they know. Some people are not, and that is something I respect deeply.
This is not therapy, and I do not frame my work as therapy. It is a relational and experiential process focused on awareness, choice, and responsibility. My goal for you is transformation in a relatively short amount of time, not endless processing.
Because of that, I do not offer short term or drop-in coaching for those looking for transformation. If someone chooses to work with me, the minimum commitment is six months (billed monthly), which equals eighteen sessions. Most clients work with me for at least six months. Some choose to continue for a year.
Who This Work is For
This work is for people who feel stuck and do not know why.
It is for those who struggle with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, or emotional reactivity and want something deeper than symptom management.
It is for people who know they have patterns, habits, and triggers but do not know how to change them.
It is for those who are ready to stop managing their healing and start experiencing and healing it.
The Journey to Healing Appointment
Before any commitment is made, I offer a complimentary thirty-minute Journey to Healing appointment.
This is not a coaching session. It is a space for you to ask questions, understand how I work, and explore whether we are a good fit. If it feels aligned, we can decide on next steps at that time.
No pressure. Just clarity.
If reading this brought a sense of relief, recognition, or curiosity, that matters.
You can schedule your complimentary Journey to Healing appointment when you are ready. Use the button at the top of this page.
